Shaped by her background in community nursing, Shameka’s practice is grounded in kindness, compassion, and patient-focused care. With a strong focus on mental health and recovery-oriented support, she finds the greatest meaning in walking alongside clients through their healing and personal growth. She takes pride in building trust, offering consistent support, and tailoring care to meet each individual’s unique needs during their stay. For Shameka, mental health nursing is a powerful reminder of our shared humanity and the importance of compassionate, non-judgmental care.Shameka approaches her work with a mindset she calls the “3 G’s”: Give it your all.
