Charlotte Henry

Charlotte is an Addiction Counsellor at Vaughan Recovery House (CFHH).

She is a Centennial College graduate with two diplomas in Addiction & Mental Health and Indigenous Studies with High Honours.

It was Charlotte’s personal and lived experience that began her journey in the field. For her it’s “an honour and privilege being able to walk alongside individuals through their journey to wellness”.

With her life experience and educational background in Mental Health and Addictions, Charlotte uses a variety of different approaches depending on the individual. A client-centred approach and trauma-informed care are her focus because each individual is unique.

Charlotte is very passionate about working with families who have experienced a loved one suffering from substance use disorder and mental illness. She says it’s “an incredible experience” seeing families reunite.

Charlotte loves to educate others on substance use and mental health disorders in the hope of stopping the stigma so no individual is fearful of getting the support they need.

Her life goal is to impact individuals and help support others in living “a healthy and fulfilled life”.
